Daphne and her family have been living in an unhealthy rental home. Her three sons are active boys who want to play football, run around, and have friends over to shoot hoops. But she isn’t comfortable letting her boys be boys with a bar and liquor store as neighbors. Staying inside isn’t ideal, either. Daphne’s windows are drafty and let in the cold. Every time a truck drives by, the windows shake.

When Daphne brought her sons to their new home, they couldn’t contain their excitement. They know their mom has worked very hard to build this home for them and simply called it “perfect.” That afternoon, Daphne’s youngest son looked in every room and then rushed outside where he ran laps around the home in anticipation of having his own yard. The boys want a basketball hoop—something they can’t have now—for Christmas. The Workman family will move in this fall, just in time for the boys to play football in the snow.

The future of Daphne’s boys—their health and well-being—begins in their new home.
